I am not sure some of the comments here. If the lithium is there and it works out this is a good acquisition. Some of the comments below are around short term versus long term market fundamentals in the lithium space. The question is here - has this acquisition got economic quantities of lithium and time will tell there.

Anyone expecting lithium prices to remain as high as what PLS was selling at are delusional - however, this is the point when lithium prices settle they will still be much higher than what most prospective producers were putting into their DFSs - refer Post #: 66330003

Not surprised with the acquisition, albeit yes you can argue whether it was the right one/type in the lithium space. In the April 2022 quarterly - Post #: 60968752 - the following was said about Newleyine which some were debating on here on why no more drilling there. Reading between the lines here, which was at the back of the quarterly, I suspect they were not confident anything much was there given when they drilled they found not what they thought was there from the previous EM survey results prior to drilling.

The positive here is the acquisition is in the US, however it may have been better IMO to get a spodumene based prospect. Then again ASN has shown what a market cap can become if exploration/development results are ok. Anyway time will tell and good luck to you all. Long term play, but probably not the best day to relist given the DOW last night.
