As I wrote previously, an incentive structure based on achievement of short-term price targets rather than specific operational outcomes provides an incentive for share price manipulation.
I find it disappointing that AVZ continue to incentivize management and contractors on short-term share price outcomes rather than well-defined operational metrics that would see the project move towards production.
If the latter was the case, the share price would then take care of itself.
