Reading twitter that appointment of JNS is indicative of a Mexican Standoff. I agree. We all know the Chinese are interested and surely they won’t want the resource advertised any more in NA. In the face of this Mgmt have done just that. It makes me think that relationships at this moment in time are quite adversarial. That normally means money differences . My guess is that if the Chinese are making offers JV or TO etc then the dollar tag ain’t suiting Mgmt (good on em) and they raise pressure with NA selling.
They don’t need cash for 40k JORC so why promote otherwise? I think that time and EV/Li market changes over next 12 months will drive someone to the table. Road will be trucksble by next rainy season so watch out for those golden Mince Pies.
