Nice analysis.
Seems to me that your hole collars though are starting at the same level as the water in the flooded pits. See for example your page 6 next to the section of 7000. I think by starting your hole colars too low (missing the land or overburden above the flooded pit water level) you end up putting your end of holes too deep.
This is an unrelated question - anyone happen to see the camp where cores are processed as per MLs tweeted photos on a google earth map near the drill colors? On max resolution I think shed buildings etc should be large enough to stand out but haven't managed to spot yet. Sorry for digression from theme of post.
