Suffice to say the Plaintiff doesn't have the luxury of spending millions on lawyers because they don't have the funds for this to go on for years & years! Here's a question for you - I expect the Supreme Court to throw this out because regardless of the fact ANZ is domiciled in WA, they can't overturn a decision made by another jurisdiction. Now assuming I'm correct, what's their step? Engage an Italian or Mongolian court because it sounds like a good idea? The fact they've approached an Australian court tells us they are bereft of legal options. My two bobs worth!
