The WA government has announced they are making changes to allow general practitioners to be able to prescribe medicinal cannabis to the vast majority of patients.WA health minister Roger Cook made the announcement on Monday night’s Flashpoint and the changes are set to impact the lives of many ill West Australians.
This major announcement means that Western Australia will now be aligned with other states such as Victoria and South Australia when it comes to accessing medicinal cannabis.
