You have decent intuition. Haven't met Dennis so can't speak for him but suspect as ResCap were owners, not producers, they were taking a gamble with getting this going. And if it falls over no problem to them.
The GM on the other hand; I have heard nothing good about him from my contacts in Cobar. His business fell over there years ago and he moved away leaving a lot of locals upset. I'm surprised they even put in the IPO he had contacts in the area and was therefore an asset to the company. The production numbers leave a lot to be desired (despite the Q1 numbers being better); I doubt he knows what he's doing IMHO.
