It's kind of like one of those high school movies. You want to pick the girl that everyone thinks is the "ugly duckling", then on prom night she isn't wearing her paint covered overalls or nerdy glasses, her hair is down and now everyone wants her.

There is never much financial opportunity in things that everyone thinks is hot and will always be hot. Not saying MKR is the ugly duckling about to turn princess but at least they are making it look ugly right now which creates potential opportunity.
