"The SP will not halve if a TO isn't successful, now who's scaremongering..." - Confidence, well it was 6.7¢ before the TO offer and if it doesn't happen, and unless there's some fantastic news that hasn't been announced, why wouldn't the SP go back there, or even less? Anyway, if that's scaremongering so be it.

"If anything this has put me off MAQ as an investment." - That's business and probably why they've been successful.

"major shareholders had already shut down the offer so I'm not sure why MAQ is bothering with this" - I wouldn't have a clue either but I'm assuming they know what they're doing, they have so far anyway, as I said, that's business, it'll all come out in the wash.

Personally I think MAQ are better off just competing against BPF in the market place rather than up the offer, I know who I'd put my money on, but then again I'm biased and just a mug punter trying to make a bit on the side so what would I know.
