In an earlier post, I made reference to the fact that TS has already indicated the possibility of a share buy back in the new year. If CFE do sell the project for $400m or so, they will be able to buy back the 57m shares several times over. TS has in own large shareholding to protect as well, and would be mindful of a permanent dilution. This deal may well see CFE have significantly fewer shares on its register. Time will tell, I guess, but it does seem an obvious way forward.
