I would certainly hope so. NCM is one of the largest gold mining companies in the world. I certainly hope that it never falls prey to an overseas raider. Peter Costello rightly blocked the attempt by Shell to get control of Woodside's riches. Scott Morrison is blocking the sale in one piece of S. Kidman & Co. Sid Kidman would roll in his grave if he thought his empire was going to an offshore bidder.
