An NTA of 89c at end of Mar. OK the market has moved 6.7%, so let call that 95c if they were fully invested. But they’re not, 40% in cash. Why on earth is this trading at $1.20?
I bought WAX during the GFC at a discount of >20% to NTA. I enjoyed a massive outperformance as Geoff and co invested well, beat the market with the portfolio and on top of that the SP went from a 20% discount to > a 20% premium. Sold all my shares a while back at 20-30% premiums.
why wouldn’t holders sell WAX and buy say WMI and WLE that are still managed by Geoff but trading on much smaller premiums? Or WGB trading at a discount?
