No doubtably is the primary driver behind a massive short squeeze in Silver markets in Feb 98, sending silver lease rates up to 70%!
There was no smoke and mirrors around the purchase (there was around the sale and rationale for it) and the purchase was openly discussed in the '98 shareholders meeting.
