Good that SXY is transitioning from oil to gas. Well, in the short term anyway. In its last Qly, SXY reported QonQ gas price +13%. The QonPrevYrQ was about 6%. BPT's new Qly reports "higher realised gas prices" - "The average realised gas and ethane price of $7.63/GJ was 8% higher than the prior quarter. Excluding a $5.8 million annual true-up payment received during the quarter, the average realised gas price was $7.34/GJ, 4% higher than the prior quarter, driven by contracted sales mix. ". So SXY is reporting a better gas price increase than BPT, but without going into the reasons, surely it's at least worth noting that gas prices are on the up.
