Previous PTX 200 trials for Ovarian and Breast cancers were terminated. If you check the announcements, this is because the trials which were undertaken in the USA, were to be redesigned and brought to Australia. The redesign was to change the dose cycle of PTX 200 and the Chemo drug to prevent adverse interaction. Bringing the trial to Oz was to control costs. So it has all been announced.
The PTX 200 AML trial which is underway at the moment has been redesigned as stated above. It would seem this is the test bed of the redesign prior to restarting the other two.
Check out the announcements of the results from the two trials that were stopped. PTX 200 did a great job, as it is with the AML trial (3 reported CRs with AML so far).
