Net assets per share increased to 4.3c; average pearl size recovered 15% to 0.45 momme; percent of harvested pearls attaining marketable grade up 2 basis points to 37%; oyster stock volumes up 12.6% to nearly 3 million, bodes well for future production; and the company is becoming more efficient at converting assets into cash - stocks of harvested pearls are at lower levels despite increased harvests. The final quarter of the year should see excellent results, following the physical auction in Kobe in October.
