Two other Australian lake brine SOP developers have stuffed up (SO4 and KLL) and fallen into financial difficulty because they got the calculations wrong on evaporation pond management. The market smashed all Australian SOP players because of this. I think the market is discounting TMG too much because overseas several producers do exactly what TMG planning, so technically it’s feasible once the evaporation pond issues are sorted out. Secondly TMG now have the benefit of learning from KLL and SO4 mistakes as Keren discussed in the quarterly.
The increase in NPV is $144m per $100 price rise above the base price, which puts NPV close to a billion at spot prices.
