With regards to pegmatites, its not the **bros that are mineralised but rather the fractionated granitic offshoots from the pluton below, containing non-compatible elements (e.g. Li), but they intrude the greenstones (broad term for metamorphosed **bros, komatiites, basalts).
Nothing is immediately obvious to my eyes from low resolution magnetics, but they must believe there is pegmatite potential in the region.
