I had a similar discussion with a friend about Wilson in general. A few things made me unhappy and sold out around $1.6 last year.
we put the cap raising in a very simple term. Say
the company has 100, is charging a fee of $1, receiving 5 in div from investment and distribute 7 including franking credit.
in year two, the coy now only have 100 -1 +5 -7 =97. A 1% fee is 0.97 and that's not enough to pay for staff wage increase, office rent increase and the sky rocket overhead cost. What to do? Well...as a boss I want the base increase from 97 to something like 105. 110 is better. Say the new base after capital raised is 110, the boss now have a fee of $1.1, enough to cover for wage increase and overheads.
Two of my friends dumped all thier WLE after ex date.
