Big call to spend 500 million on an expanded anode plant if you can't get Balama on track IMO. Somewhat fortunate they got the DOE loan.
I think you're confused. Nothing wrong with Balama except for lack of orders. The 45kt AAM plant once built will require 60-80 ktpa from Balama making it less dependent on Chinese demand.
