Not limited to hearing assistance. Where an audio codec currently exists, think on-chip replacement of that [software] function. They are ubiquitous - that's why it is so interesting.
Need to temper the expectations a little though. I have been involved in IP licensing before (and extracting money from MNCs) and the numbers I think will be good, but probably not outrageous. I do see NUH continuing involvement in the OTC hearing market.
