    @GARETH78

    You need to look further into the news that you are obviously putting your own spin on, in your scare-mongering tactics, regarding major vehicle manufacturers and their spod requirements.

    Because you like using CAPITAL LETTERS TO GET A POINT ACROSS, PLEASE SHOW US THE ARTICLE, OR NEWS, OR PERSONAL LETTER YOU RECEIVED FROM ELON MUSK THAT LTR SPOD IS NO LONGER REQUIRED AS OF TODAY!! Because you just should not be making sh.t up.

    Or is it just again your own misguided uneducated opinion that Tesla will no longer need LTR spod?

    There is a very recent article in ‘The Guardian’ news that highlights many current issues regarding the adoption of, and manufacturing issues re EV,s. Including the situation with Tesla. There is a price war right now, which is more about market dominance than anything else, between Tesla and BYD predominantly. They are both seeing a slight slow down in their sales growth, yes, and both are cutting prices as part of their war.

    The situation around the world though is a lot more complicated than just simply stating EV production is stopping. It is not stopping at all. In some places there is a slight slow down, but that is more so because some car makers are still making more profit from ICE vehicles, so right now they are trying their best to push their respective governments around the world to back off a little bit. Many of these carmakers are still wanting to go full on into EV,s. Some are just wanting to put it off, till 2025 in some cases, and in others 2026.

    They also see their competitors going more into Hybrids right now so many are taking advantage of this due to the profit associated with it. Companies will do whatever gets them the most money, and will usually only move when pushed to. That push will happen, and they know it.

    Yet there are many countries around the world, including most of Europe, where EV,s are speeding up in their share of market dominance. If you do MORE research than what you appear to be doing Gareth, you will find that there is currently a tug of war going on, with the flag on the rope about to cross over the ‘no return’ threshold. EV,s will be winning this tug of war. It’s just a long game.

    Ford is only cutting back on the EV utility and still has advanced plans to go head long into the EV era. They too see hybrids as an entry but will be forced to do more as time passes.

    Have a look at Ford’s own website. They have a recent article about their plans (Title in bold below). I didn’t see anything about them no longer wanting LTR’s spod.
    “FORD UPDATES EV, HYBRID PLANS, READIES MANUFACTURING PLANTS APR 4, 2024”

    You really should stop your scare mongering and stick to facts. Stop grabbing a small part of a story and making it suit your own narrative and agenda.

    GLTAH. Please consider any opinions of non-holders using their scare tactics as possibly just that. Scare tactics. There are plenty of current articles, and great research out there which is completely at odds with what Gareth, Trent, and others like them have to spruik.
