I got lambasted on another thread for using the term 'street smarts' in relation to running a gold mining operation and I stand by that comment. You can have all the degrees in the world, but nothing in the text books can teach you how to run a successful business.
Mark Zeptner has proven the last few years that he has what it takes to run a highly successful operation. He was buying up aggressively when most others were sat on the hands, goggle-eyed wondering what move to make next. Wayne Bramwell of WGX is a classic example because he had the opportunity to grab SPR and he didn't take it, now look at it.
Markets are largely about taking opportunities and timing, and MZ has proven to be impeccable in relation to both.
