So looking at accounting treatment of good on sale or return and also goods with a 60 day return / no questions asked refund policy provision from store it is interesting if you don't have a history just what provisioning you may have to provide. Assuming firstly a 30-60% return rate for initial launch batch and already having a history or warranty issues a auditor would be closely looking at provisioning IMO. Locking cash in provisioning also prevents it from other uses but accounting policy allows cash reporting to show full revenue but 4 D needs to show any provisioning and justification. Just thoughts. .
