To me its not very unexpected.

I have held the view for a long time that mining execs get jammed on this. The orphan period is hard enough as it is. If you tell people its going to take 18 months to do a DFS they get bored and it exaggerates the orphan phase. But if you give them more aggressive timelines to keep them on the hook then inevitably you don't deliver. It's like a tightrope of trying to keep people in a story and access to capital. And given the attention span of most punters I don't know what the correct answer is...
