I mentioned a couple weeks ago M&A activity is going to pick up. First.off the ranks will be the big boys buying each other out.
Eyes will be drawn to the mid cap producers soon though I see these will be in the too hard basket to buy out and may not offer the tonnage for bucks needed to spend.
Watch for the bigger companies to start partnering with near term producers with an eye to take them out.
Lots of broker placements in the US and Canada lately for SIlver URanium and picking up copper companies. To keep an eye on this activity you can get emailed every night of announcement headlines from junior mining network.
For those.interested ARizona Sonoran Copper that is reasonably.close to ORacle published a feasibility report in February.
Their project is similar to Em2. Worth a read. AISC around the $2.38 with $500mil capex. They currently looking at using NUtons leaching process which is a subsidiary of RIO(I think I'm right here) correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway worth a read. Oh by the way SOnoran MC IS $157Million. And the project economics get way better with copper at $4.25
