Yes ,the Lonsec contribution to GDG is significant and growing ,Lonsec has a good name/brand and both organisations have relevant current product offerings. I would be more worried about GDG being taken over and prefer that it continues alone.
GDG imho is another recipient of the rotation into value stocks. Now at break even for me.
