I think it's easy to get over complicated with Syrah and the share price. There are heavy shorts which will push around the share price but I tend to think they just exacerbate a downward trend.
Syrah is now a producer. It's share price will be dictated by the price of its products and it's cost of production. In the same way FMG fortunes are made and lost as iron ore prices rise and fall.
There may be a little speculation in the price based on forward estimates of graphite price, takeover potential and upramping of production or changes in product mix (flake size etc). But really the driver for the share price now is driving down the COP and improving graphite prices.
