Just a few notes here on my initial impressions with the proviso I am not too familiar with Namibian gold deposits.
* Kokoseb looks pretty interesting. It has scale and good geological ingredients. Which are mineralisation along a granite contact and the intersection of two structures / trends NNE & ESE around trench 4 & 5. Probably a decent sized fold hinge/ perhaps intersection of two shears- that set up is conducive to forming long plunge higher grade shoots. Folding and sedimentary schists is also suggestive of saddle/leg reef environments.
* So in the Trench4-5 area potential for a good 300-500m x 30-60m zone @~1.5g/t Au with a very good chance of some higher grade shoots so targeting ~ 500k-1Moz maybe more if they get high grade shoots down to ~250m add the strike extensions away from the intersection of the two trends and they have a crack at a couple of million ozs – but it is not a lay down misère.
* Good they are doing some diamond first, before RC drilling, and likely taking oriented core to sort out orientations first, which may not be simple at the intersection of the two trends - Maybe they will need a couple more diamond holes around Trenches 4 & 5 and maybe some more trenches for detailed mapping in what looks to be the critical area.
* Cote d’Ivoir projects all well situated and they have enough ground to generate a decent chance of finding something with enough expenditure - Exploration is a game of turning over enough stones, having enough stones to turn and enough money to do it.
* Bouafle Sud seems to have decent scale to it and decent tenor of auger grades. However I am surprised that they don’t push the historic drilling from Newcrest for the Bouafle project though it had a number of decent hits - Is it patchy and lacking in continutity?
* Work programs appear to be systematic and professional and covering a lot of ground.
* Looks like a pretty good team.
* Cash backing good enough to get to the next level of funding pending decent results, that will need to be done within about 3-5 months @ $2M left in the tin to fund a decent RC drilling at Kokoseb.
*Market Cap looks about right - but these markets!
*Def worthy of some further research and on my watch list for upcoming Nab DD.
