I think what they wrote is right Mondy.

They look to be scaling back bnpl or just keeping it ticking along at current levels instead of pursuing growth in bnpl volumes - bnpl appears to be a time gap filler as they had up to 18 months of wait time if they did in fact put together a bid for the Digital bank license.

No point losing more money on bnpl than it needs to if dbl is near now ?

BNM released DBL framework on 31/12/2020 with application submission due 30/06/2021, and another 6 to 9 months wait after that which takes us up to this point in time.
