The industry I am in takes 3-5 years to seal one deal so I am used to this type of pace.
The reasons being the people involved are successful but proud and arrogant. They all know each other but refuse to work with each other let alone working with any new comers.
Don’t know music industry at all but it could be the personalities of the people involved that determine the pace of the industry.
