maybe people are just increasingly short term thinking and have lost the ability of patience and timing due to the increasing use the internet and screen time that rewards our primate brain with short term intermittent periodic positive reinforcement, further undermining our ability to be a long term investor at the expense of seeking short term gain.....or not, but people still need salt, industry more so
