Watching good operators in action is watching chaos in motion until it all comes together.
It often doesn't make much sense the order in which things are done when it is done in the most economical manner.

A good experienced Bully operator can achieve multiples of what another "Contractor" can in the same space and time.
A workmate after getting a gently sloping site cleared of topsoil by the local contrator with an old Bully before putting up a factory was surprised to find the site left so smooth and level the foundation contractor asked who had levelled the site.
So level it had saved the cost of getting his own man in.
Also Couldn't believe it was done by eyesight without GPS levelling given its size.
Hence the assurance achieved to me with upgrading of earthworks contracts to someone with 40yrs in the business.
They won't be into any double handling or having to rework substandard workmanship.

I can imagine the drier and more stable sections will get done first here.
Along with any areas that will divert any future rain/runoff away from their workings.
