This could have gone only one of 2 ways.
1. Santos did not believe that the ground was perspective enough after extensive seismic.
2. Central and Santos could not come to commercial terms (money) and therefore the deal fell through.
My gut feel is that it is the second likelyhood.
In saying that if they released a proper ANN we wouldn't have to guess and go on gut feel,we would be well informed as to why Santos decided not to proceed.
