At the Bellary Dome, the MRB lies conformably over the Bellary Formation. My question is whether the setting provides the necessary time and potentially the older host rock required for the development of the Archean gravels hosting the Wits 2 watermelon seed nugget deposits seen elsewhere - DEG/VRX, NOVO/ARV, HAO nuggets seem to involve MRB basal conglomerate overlying significant unconformities. It is also my assessment of the recent results from KAI, where they have explored contacts with conglomerates overlying the MRB, and found minor gold and no Wits 2 nuggets. This is also consistent with NOVOs Beatons Creek being a lower grade deposit found in the younger Hardey Formation conglomerate.

Both conglomerate at purdy' and this bellary project underly mt roe and overly basement rocks, refer to stratigraphic column I posted and also study the bellary formation = equivalent of what is referred to as pre mt roe sediments in other areas like purdy/comet well
