The channel shows a 10 year trend of ups and downs, and the average earnings. We are now entering a market that is very nervous, and the chart reflects that. The question is "is this a stock that no longer has earnings" or one that is over sold and will return to the channel over time? I think long term channels are a good guide, but each to their own.
