Doesn't have to be expensive to be cool. Dunlop volleys, about $20 from Kmart from memory, are considered fasionable but are not expensive. I like the design too but I don't like needing to replace them every other month as its wasteful. I agree that the RCG exclusive licenses will likely come under attack from Amazon when renegotiation time arrives - in fact it could well be the reason that Amazon has stated they are not moving into shoes initially.
I'll have to try out the Aldi shoes though, thanks for the tip!
