Kohler's Eureka Report yesterday did a feature on AMA. It includes this comment attributed by implication to CEO Andy Hopkins in relation to the Gemini takeover. "He calls it a backdoor listing because AMA was pretty small and it was on the skids, really. It was in trouble and probably heading for receivership and he's taken it over. Ray Malone, the founder of AMA rode off into the distance and retired ..." I'd hardly call that a fair assessment of anything but maybe that's what spooked the sellers. The company statement says we will have to wait a month to see by how much they beat expectations. I imagine the sellers of today will be buyers by then. The market is throwing up a big buying opportunity today.
