While I don't think the time value of money is a major point in this analysis, I will just add one quick point to the debate. I'm more than 90% sure that the company would already discount any cashflows anticipated to be received in more than 12 months when calculating their non current WIP. It is standard practice for a non current WIP calculation. Probably not for the current portion of their WIP though.
