Early in October Intuit announced that the QuickBooks product had 545,000 small business and self-employed customers in Britain at July 31, up 78 percent from a year earlier. Xero today reported 536,000 subscribers, up 51%. Confirming Intuit has overtaken Xero in the UK.
While this isn’t a mortal blow, I would be surprised if sentiment isn’t negatively affected.
Still to dig into the bulk of the announcement but pleased to see a profit declared.
