If I'm buying today, I would be considering what this business might look in a few years time.
Whether they settle a case in the next five weeks or not is irrelevant for my time horizon. For those with shorter time horizons, I'm going to guess that (1) they're in for a pump and dump from a settlement, or (2) a dump if there is no settlement so I think the share price could come down over the short term if they fail to meet that guidance and those holders lose patience.
Hat tip on the interest rate on loans. They will be stuck with their mid teens interest rate for years, but they can refinance over the medium term. That helps with building a picture of what the business might look like in a few years.
Now I get that enough people are in for a quick pump and dump, and that is okay. I'm just playing a different game, while watching on as others play theirs.
