With respect I was not gloating- see intresting exchange on Groote Eylandt SOS. In response to that accusation I was stating the reality of the situation.
An unfortunate dynamic that has been unleashed by GOT's incursions, in my opinion, probably best articulated from the SH's perspective by Buzbarker's highest rated post, is that both the TO's and some SH's, have hardened their heights to the other side.
The point Buzbarker (who as a result of our interchanges I respect very much) was making in his post is that because the TO's won't accomodate GOT then his "sympathies" if you like for aborigines in general have waned some what.
I can assure that the incursions of GOT have reinforced the TO's stereotypical notions of the Mainstream; two of those, amongst many, being that they are aggressive, self obsessed and money fixated.
To rebutt Russelj's assertion that I was gloating on SOS I posted this...note that the SP is posted on SOS whether good or bad news for the TO's.
?And posting 13 cents with three exclamation marks is not gloating, it's posting a fact with emphasis...and wonderment actually, when we first began this campaign GR were over $1 and we thought we were in deep shit.?
