The announcement is all about softening shareholders up to accepting a revised offer from Macca probably not much above current offer , nobody in their right mind would foreshadow a capital raising before they did it . Maybe other deals could be in pipeline like selling down some equity in the santos jv to ease financial committments in the future . Maybe a good time to buy some more
