Yep, i do agree, it's just frustrating at times but at the end of the day i enjoy the challenge and continue to learn.

I do agree with what your saying and the lowball takeovers, we all want to buy value if and when the window of opportunity opens. I've only ever had 3 of my shares takenover and 2 of them were before the GFC.

For me the GFC was a black swan, i had no real idea what was going on or the scale of it, then they bailed them out willy nilly, fired up the printing press and kicked the can down the road to keep the charade going. I can't really say i understand it all properly but i don't think they've fixed anything and with time probably made it worse. All they've seem to have done is remove items off one balance sheet and move it to another, printed ridiculous amounts of currency and exported it to keep inflation down. You seem quite logical, do you think they've kicked the can or fixed it?
