That doesn't make any sense. there is little point in spilling the board and moving on
If SDL just accept the cancellation of Cameroon and Congo they have no business (even by their own admission)
All it will be is a shell company with large capital losses which someone will be keen to try and unlock somewhere down the track.
I have little sympathy for the Directors (as opposed to shareholders) as their actions in effectively handing control of Cameroon negotiations to ANS (& others) without finalisation of the deal is school boy stuff.
However, they are absolutely correct in pressing ahead with an International Dispute resolution which may result in clawing back some funds although it might be difficult to quantify exactly what they spend on Congo. (Cameroon appears a lost cause, but who knows!?)
(Both arguments appear to rely on administrative errors by Governments - who would have guessed )
Threats of future litigation are part and parcel of this type of negotiation and it would seem highly likely best outcome for SDL will be a negotiated settlement, (most probably from a Chinese entity now involved in gaining the conventions)
    How much is the question??
No way SDL is in a position to just move on, but shareholders would be best to mentally write it off. The current action must play out!
At least Porter & the noteholders will be keen to get something back, although it is obvious that the noteholders had written most of their investment down previously based on their actions during the various renewals over last couple years!!
