The key measure for me in any given company is number of new customers (always like to see some) vs number of lost customers (ideally 0 but there are occasional mergers or bankruptcies outside of IRI control)
I ran my company on this principle and we did well. I sold it to a large company that did not fully understand, or care given the quarterly results focus of many listed co)
Hard to get this data unless you're connected well to the business.
