Miracles can sometimes happen but they're less likely to here than most other places. The elephant in the room is 95% (soon to be more) ownership of the company by people and organisations to which I would not choose to trust my future financial well-being. I can see some people losing out twice here. Hedge funds aren't particularly noted for their philanthropy and history suggests they don't like sharing.
People investing here won't be doing so on anything like 'normal' terms because of the control issue. Basically, AC et al can decide whatever they like and shareholders (the 5%) will be powerless to stop them.
Ref the $3 share price, all I can think of is that the market has latched onto a little known intangible assets called "hope" and given it a value of close to $200m. There is a Latin saying which applies here: "spe aeterni fontis".
There are plenty of other far less risky investment opportunities out there that offer far greater prospects of financial gain.
