I think people misunderstand the debt levels are structured on purpose to drive high use of capital amd achieve good ROI and ROE in a low margin business and continue the ability to distribute profits completely in the form of dividends while growing . Find me another company who has distributed all their profits while seeing profits and SP grow steadily for years and years. Debt levels could be reduced by many levers including selling off property and leasing , raising capital and or reducing distribution levels. The company has debt to support inventory which in turn supports profits and earnings . I assure you managements - founders fortunes are linked to the viability of the company and SP. if they felt debt levels should be reduced they would act
