as much as i would like to see a return of capital, i think this will take much longer.
discussion with the noteholders will take months, and in the present climate any bidder will want the package at a discount. i think MXQ is better off waiting for maturity of most instruments and paying down debt slowly but with max benefit to holders.
i think a lot of holdings are illiquid and it will be difficult to sell at fair value. But it would be good to get noteholder approval to sell off some of the poor quality stuff that is probably going to yield nothing anyway.

i guess we will have to wait and see.
