The PFS used a cobalt price of US$61,000 and a nickel price of US$18,000. So prices haven’t risen substantially.
You’ll note from the PFS that Glencore gets a mention,
”The increase in the price has been influenced by the recent news that Glencore has placed its Mutanda operation (25 ktpa Co or 20% of total market) on care and maintenance.”
Now that Mutanda will be supplying the market with 25 ktpa of Co in just a few weeks, I’d expect it to influence the Co price to the downside.
